Matsuo Bashō, “Old Pond”

“Old Pond,” a poem by Japanese haiku master Matsuo Bashō, was the inspiration for naming Old Frog Pond Farm. It is aptly named with ponds and little hopping frogs all about. Visiting Old Frog Pond Farm is a culinary and visual treat, with fresh raspberries for picking and art installations throughout the landscape. Natural sculpture installations by Anne Eder and others will be available to enjoy in a sculpture walk on the farm beginning Sept. 6 and running through Indigenous Peoples Day, Oct. 12. Linda Hoffman, farm owner and artist, suggests keeping an eye on the website’s events page for information about what’s coming soon at Old Frog Pond Farm.
